Greenheck

Greenheck is a leading manufacturer of air movement, control and conditioning equipment. Headquartered in Schofield, Wisconsin, Greenheck also has manufacturing facilities in Kentucky, California, North Carolina, Mexico and India. The company maintains five facilities in Cleveland County, North Carolina—two in Kings Mountain and three in Shelby—and has plans to continue to grow in the region.

Greenheck equipment is used across a variety of commercial, institutional and industrial buildings in applications from comfort ventilation to manufacturing processes. The company’s flagship ventilation products are typically found behind walls, in ductwork or on the roofs of hospitals, office buildings, hotels, shopping malls, restaurants, schools, industrial plants and other commercial buildings around the globe. Greenheck products manufactured in Cleveland County include commercial kitchen hoods and tempered air products, such as make-up air units and energy recovery ventilators.

A Culture of Advancement

Culture is an extremely important characteristic of what makes Greenheck the company it is today. Greenheck is committed to maintaining a “work family” environment and has made significant investments to attract, develop and retain employees by creating a culture that promotes commitment through leadership, career development, tuition reimbursement and employee training opportunities. Through these and many other opportunities, Greenheck helps hard-working employees grow the skills they need to continue to move up at the company. Greenheck has a close relationship with Cleveland Community College and frequently recruits students from welding and other applicable programs. It’s not uncommon for these students to find entry-level positions at Greenheck and quickly work their way up through training and support from the company.
