  • Boys and Girls Club of Cleveland County — The purpose of the Boys and Girls Club of Cleveland County is to enable all young people in our community to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
  • Children’s Homes — Children’s Homes of Cleveland County’s mission is to provide services to children and their families, to come together to learn, to grow and to develop in a safe, stable environment.
  • Cleveland County Arts Council — The Cleveland County Arts Council strives to educate, promote, support and enrich the community through arts activities that are creative, inspiring and inclusive
  • Cleveland County Habitat for Humanity — Cleveland County Habitat for Humanity’s mission is to eliminate substandard housing in Cleveland County and to make adequate housing a matter of conscience and action.
  • Cleveland Vocational Industries — The mission of Cleveland Vocational Industries is to provide opportunities and training for people with barriers to employment.
  • Communities in Schools — Communities in Schools of Cleveland County is a group of community leaders dedicated to providing a continuous network of support for students from birth through graduation and beyond in order to help students be successful in school and in life.
  • Goodwill of the Southern Piedmont — Goodwill of the Southern Piedmont is a regional branch of Goodwill Industries whose territory spans an 18-county area in the Carolinas. The organization is a leader in regional workforce development and employs of more than 1,100 people.
  • Keep Shelby Beautiful — Keep Shelby Beautiful empowers individuals, organizations and the City of Shelby to take responsibility for enhancing the quality of life thorough beautification, education, technology, local ordinances and effective enforcement to keep Shelby beautiful.
  • Kings Mountain Mauney Library Volunteer — Volunteers at the Mauney Library can help with a range of services including event support, summer reading, book sorting and shelving, helping patrons with library technology and more.
  • Kings Mountain National Military Park Volunteer — King’s Mountain NMP Volunteers in Park (VIP) program provides the opportunity for people to assist park staff with a range of roles that support the park’s operations.
  • Mental Health Association in Cleveland County — The Mental Health Association in Cleveland County promotes mental health in our community through education, advocacy and support.
  • Shelby Civitan Club — Shelby Civitan is a civic club dedicated to developing civic-minded leaders in Shelby and Cleveland County who wish to serve others in the community, especially those with developmental disabilities.
  • Shelby Humane Society — The Shelby Humane Society’s mission is to care for homeless, abused, neglected and abandoned animals and to educate the community to instill an increase awareness and commitment to the responsibility of animal ownership and protection.
  • Shelby Rotary — Shelby Rotary is the Cleveland County branch of Rotary, the worldwide organization of business and professional persons who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations and help build goodwill and peace in the world.
  • Suit Up and Show Up — Suit Up and Show Up is an initiative of Jefferson Elementary aimed at exposing children to a variety of possible career paths. Professionals in the community sign up to “suit up and show up” in work clothes, whether it’s a suit or scrubs, tell students about their job and encourage them to work hard and be kind.
  • Stolen Horse International — Stolen Horse International, Inc., also known as NetPosse, is a Shelby-based international network of equine organizations, volunteers and horse owners joined to educate the horse industry about the problem of missing and stolen horses.
  • United Way Cleveland County — The United Way of Cleveland County’s purpose is to raise money to support vital health and human service programs within our community to ensure that Cleveland County is a great place to live.
  • Uptown Shelby Association — The Uptown Shelby Association’s mission is to advocate, celebrate and enhance Uptown Shelby.
  • Volunteers of America Carolina’s — Volunteers of America is a faith-based non-profit organization dedicated to providing services and advocating for veterans, seniors, families and those with disabilities.
