Job Description

Requirements: Valid Driver’s license is required for all positions. Reliable means of transportation is required for all positions. Must be able to pass a drug screen. Background check is required.

General description: Reports directly to the Production Shift Supervisor of that shift and must have good communication and people skills are needed.

Essential Duties: Must follow and help support the Safety Policies and Procedures of CORMETECH. Must follow and help support all Quality initiatives, policies, and procedures of CORMETECH. Ensures the following from the control room: Tank settings are correct for current recipe (temperature, pH, etc); Wastewater streams are directed to the proper systems for treatment; Modules are moving in order and on time according to the recipe; Responsible for maintaining valve positions and pump settings across two production lines; Responsible for ensuring adjustments are made safely and according to the process recipe; Responsible for conveying any process issues that occur to the appropriate department so a timely solution can be developed and implemented (equipment down, tanks out of spec, etc.) Aids on floor module movement if needed or directed. Must understand/learn the different process flow schemes of the plant. Must support the lead operator when the supervisor is absent in coordinating and directing the shift. General knowledge QAQC. Tracking movements of modules

Knowledge and Skills Requirements: Safety conscious at all times. Able to manage, lead and motivate in a team environment. Ability to work with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access (data entry only). Strong computer skills. Proven knowledge and experience with MSDS information and general plant safety*. Physical requirements include occasional lifting/carrying of up to 40 pounds; visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate maintenance equipment. Subject to sitting, standing, climbing, stooping, reaching, walking, twisting and kneeling to perform the essential functions. Working conditions are inside and outside with routine repeated exposure to temperature variations, damp/wet surfaces, cleaning fluids, and dirty environment.

This job operates in a plant environment. This role routinely requires moving around equipment thus safety must remain a priority at all times. Temperature can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. The noise level is high and requires attentiveness. Environment can be dusty at times.
