The Welder position is responsible for setting, fitting, and welding various assemblies to be used in the construction of production parts and/or equipment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand on their feet for a minimum of eight (8) hours per day; bend, climb, balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and continuously lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more. Also requires, continuous lifting, kneeling, pulling, bending, etc.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability identify various thickness and types of materials. Sharp vision is needed to view intricate details in work.
Dexterity: Welders must have excellent hand-eye coordination in order to perform complicated physical maneuvers. Great attention to detail is heavily required.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud throughout the workday. Safety requirements for this position are safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed work shoes.
