SUMMARY OF POSITION

We are looking for a full time Processing Operator in our Kings Mountain, NC facility who is dedicated to safety, quality & environmental impacts, self-motivated, and an excellent communicator. This position will perform tasks such as vacuuming and catalytic element replacements that may require heavy lifting. In addition, this position will be responsible for various prep work, such as cutting felt, module tear down and staging catalyst logs for use. The work is in an industrial environment and may require manual cleaning of the product in order to prepare for further detailed cleaning. Responsibilities could include fork lift driving if skills and experience are met for driving. Work is performed under general supervision.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Follow safety instruction and plant rules
  • Assist in module processing
  • Perform duties involved in maintenance, arrangement and cleanliness of the warehouse/worksite and its equipment such as general housekeeping.
  • May be required to drive a forklift to lift 3,500 lb. modules if the employee has forklift driving skills.
  • Will be required to pass company’s forklift training class and get official license to drive forklift.
  • Notify Supervisor of nonconforming goods
  • Only work 15 days out of a month on a 2-2-3 schedule
  • Maybe required to work in the dry cleaning area and wear PPE gear called the PAPR Respirator.

Requirements

A successful candidate must have:

  • High School diploma or equivalent -preferred
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to work in a team
  • Good attendance – punctual
  • Able to push/pull up to 75lbs. with team help (individually up to 40 lbs.)
  • Ability to listen and follow directions
  • On the job training, experience – particularly in an industrial setting
  • Must work a full 180 days to receive signing bonus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • On the job training, experience – particularly in an industrial setting
  • Warehouse experience
  • Sit-down forklift experience
