Job Description

The Mitigation/Restoration Technician engages in activities necessary to restore commercial and residential property
damaged by fire, smoke, water, mold, bio-hazard and other factors. Responds to job sites as directed and performs all
tasks in accordance with company and industry certified standards.

Key Responsibilities Include:
• Sets, monitors, and moves equipment needed for water extraction and drying of premises; keeps detailed records
of drying data
• Move, pack, catalog, bar code, and store, customer contents
• Demolition of property and debris removal
• Perform structural and content cleanup
• Maintain and create accurate and detailed measurements, diagrams, photos, journals, work orders, and other
documentation, as required for each job, including data entry into job management and data tracking systems,
using multiple software databases
• Communicate details of work performed, and job status clearly and succinctly with clients, managers, team
members, and other parties

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrated, stable work history
• Must be available to work overtime and weekends, and participate in the on-call rotation for emergency after hours
• Must be able to work in crawlspaces and attics; lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and be able to climb heights
• Must pass background check and drug screening
• Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, (minimum age 21 for insurance purposes)
• IICRC certification highly desired
• Prior work experience in restoration services, a plus
• Estimating experience, a plus

Starting Pay: up to $15.00/hr DOE
