Job Description

We are seeking an intelligent, highly motivated, positive, results-oriented individual to grow our Manufacturing leadership team in Kings Mountain, NC. If you love working in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of responsibility, this is the position for you.

You will have the opportunity to learn about other areas of operations and manufacturing, through project work, training, and site visits. The ideal candidate will have the desire to lead in a Manufacturing environment and the skills and ability to grow into greater roles of responsibility.

Primary Responsibilities

The role will rotate Supervisor positions among major business functions like Customer Service, Logistics, Production, and Materials that encompasses managing and improving areas like process improvement, safety, quality, and employee development. The responsibilities of this position may include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead and manage teams promoting a positive work environment focused on achieving business goals. Foster an environment of coaching, development, and teamwork and ensure expectations and results are communicated effectively.
  • Understand NVR and the plant’s yearly business objectives, initiatives, and productivity, quality, and delivery goals and ensure they are met or exceeded.
  • Identify and implement projects or processes to achieve business goals.
  • Communicate with NVR field and production personnel.
  • Work closely with the plant’s customer service department, materials department, and Building Products logistics department to ensure operational goals are being met.


  • Bachelor’s degree required (business or engineering preferred)
  • MBA (optional)
  • 1-3 years of leadership experience (Manufacturing experience preferred)
  • Excellent problem-analysis and strategic-thinking abilities
  • Experience working within teams and a demonstrated commitment to Customer Service
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to drive improvements within the organization and persuade and influence others
  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing multiple tasks, setting priorities, decision-making, adapting and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to travel to other NVR plants and locations, as needed
