CYC is a precision machining manufacturer of the automotive industry. Our 56,788 square foot facility is a mainstay of Cleveland County. CYC is a subsidiary of Yutaka Industry Co., LTD, Anjo City, Japan. Incorporated in June 1995, CYC began production in February 1996 upon completion of it's modern facility. The total investment in the CYC facility is now in excess of $10 million.
Duties and Responsibilities
Inspects selected products for defects and conformance issues (customer requirements, control plans) by using visual methods and all available precision measuring devices, including some simple electronic devices, such as, the surface tester.
Checks parts to assure conformance to specifications per operation manual.
Checks parts to assure conformance to specifications per customer blue prints – must be able to read blue prints identify basic dimensions.
Assist with any internal/external audits as requested
Inspects incoming cold forging and heat treated material.
Performs first article Inspections (5M1E).
Performs final inspection of finished products as directed and/or required
Rechecks rejected parts from visual inspection process to determine actual non-conformance level.
Makes the required number of quality checks as dictated by the operation process.
Accurately complete all documentation as required.
Reports quality concerns to Supervisor and assists in determining root cause for corrective action.
