Job Function:
- Administrative duties for manufacturing manager
- Plans, organizes and performs these duties according to established priorities to meet deadlines
- Handles salary payroll in confidential manner
- Maintains salary personnel files
Requires:
- General business training, including typing, calculator knowledge, personal computer
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Must reflect a high degree of proficiency and accuracy
- Knowledgeable of office procedures
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Cooperative, neat, accurate and efficient
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work with confidential information in a discreet, responsible manner

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administrative duties as required by Plant Manager
- Handle correspondence for Plant Manager and other department heads as needed
- Make hotel/flight reservations for Plant Manager and others department heads as needed
- Process Plant Manager invoices
- Coordinate with salary payroll about payroll issues
- Balance salary payroll on a monthly basis
- Responsible for salaried administration
- Prepare salary continuance letters and process forms
- Calculate and process salary severance and corresponding letters
- Prepare salary long tern disability forms and letters
- Coordinate catering for Plant Manager and other departments as needed
- Maintain Plant Manager calendar
- Assist salary employees with expense report processing as needed
- Maintain salary list to make sure job and organization are correct
- Maintain file of most current salary new hire forms
- Coordinate meetings as necessary (for plant and community services)
- Assist department heads from other areas in the plant on as needed basis
- Submit expense reports for Plant Manager
- Maintain salaried personnel files
- Maintain Plant Manager’s files
- Edit-total-submit salaried crew foreman OT on monthly basis to payroll
- Maintain petty cash box
- Maintain company Foundation file; submit for company contributions; distribute checks
- Back-up for company mail distribution
- Process Shelby weekly/monthly report
- Serve on United Way committee
- Serve on Wellness committee
Contact with Others:
- Daily contact with department heads, GO staff and employees by phone, in person or correspondence
